Devastator - the Air Colossus My entry to RIFT Challenge.is one the biggest collosus in the air, his main ability is creating a huge massive tornado wave from his mouth using his big body to create huge preassure on his internal organ, and then release it to create a huge tornado to destroy everything in its way.
the second weapon is on the glowing rune on his whole body that able create high pressure beam of air that imbued with magic, creating a laser that can cut a mountain.
4Hours + Photoshop + bamboo fun (editted his head part, since I wasnt to satisfied with the head part XD )

yeah, perhaps because it is more of a challenge? It is sort of difficult to make real a colossus that is made of something usually invisible and ignored by us.
Water has actual feel to it, so it is easier to imagine. plus there are fish, crabs, etc
Death... well, most people are doing something skeletal
Life, most people are doing some sort of creature made of branches and leaves or something like a huge venus fly trap.
Rock... i think most people are doing rock, and all i have seen are different versions of some tall bulky creature made of rocks.
Fire is a bit more interesting, but of course it would be a bit easier than air... i have seen many, many fires.
Ya, but not so many air types. Perhaps it is just a difficult thing to grasp? in all truth, for me it is the easiest thing to do. I have always seemed to have some sort of connection to the air.
But, I am going to do a colossus for at least 3 other planes... i'm thinking water, life, and fire... and perhaps death.

well, you have to look at the exact rules, every contest is different. But for this one, yes. I am working on the fire one right now.

That looks like it would be interesting to look at from a variety of angles. Too bad players will die within seconds due to gawking.

crazy ass original design. I love the multi-part head mouth assembly you got going on there. Very creative and well done all around!
