I love it too! It was copied from a portrait of "Anne of Cleves" by, I think, Holbien. I'm a sucker for Tudor styles...

Yeah same! You don't see that style of dress much in historic references and stuff though. Most tudor dresses are based on the big fur cuffs and stuff. I think Scarlet Johanson wore a dress in that style in the Other Boleyn Girl, it really stood out! I love your style of art btw!

I think it came out very well - and hey, even if you're right, marketability isn't everything. If you don't indulge yourself once in a while, art'll just be another job, and that would be a sad thing indeed.

Actually, it's really appealling... Her langorous pose and slightly dreamy/seductive expression really draw my attention. Beautiful work on the dress, m'dear!
