Mmm...it's arguable, I guess. I've never actually seen aura protecting someone from something like radiation. Fortunately, the Heisei Goji doesn't really give out radiation like the other incarnations. It all just stays in his body. At worst, cuddling with him would feel like hugging a heat blanket.
