Description
Several concept sketches of one of Batman's most nefarious foes, Scarecrow. I intend to make a Halloween costume this year based on the character but different from previous iterations - these are some design sketches I've put together for the mask. While Scarecrow is one of my favorite Batman villains, I feel he has never been written anywhere close to his true potential, and he often comes off as a b-lister or a pawn in some other villain's game, which is totally selling the character short IMO. I was even disappointed with how they wrote him in the Arkham games, despite the fact that he had the coolest levels and challenges (IMO) and was voiced by John Noble, AKA Dr. Walter Bishop from Fringe, and he is voiced by none other than Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund, in the Injustice 2 game.

Anyway, I would love to re-invent the character completely, right down to his origins & motivations, but I guess I'll have to settle for putting together a costume and some imagery in the meantime.

*NOTE: He will have either a hat or a hood with the costume. For the purposes of constructing the mask, I have left hats & hoods out of these design sketches.*
