but how do you select the skin only? (for example) I have problems with that...

Well, if you have no idea at all you can first just select colours from awesome pictures, and you can examine that, just experiment and mess around, I'm sure you'll figure it out, it just needs time ^^

do you use different tones for the shading, or is it just the same and you like erase it at parts or something?

I used a second shading colour, but I set the opacity lower cuz otherwise it's too dark. xD

It's really nice, the only thing is that there's no light source? Or, if this makes more sense, the shading is coming from both sides? S-sorry I just had to point that out.. orz
