Description
10,579 beads used. My largest yet.Anyway, to answer a few questions, this piece is made of Perler Beads, and is flat-ironed. I bought 6 bags of red to complete it. The whole process took about 30 hours in total. I made the pattern and sprite myself on GIMP.
The characters in this piece are Naota and Canti. This is based off a scene where Naota emerges from Canti's head, possessed by the powers of Atomsk, The Pirate King. (It's really an awesome anime if you've never come across it. And only 6 episodes long! Watch it if you haven't already. Actually, watch it even if you have already seen it. Lol.)
I really hope everyone likes this. I worked so, so hard on it. Let me know what you think! Remember, faves are alright, but nothing beats a comment! ^_^

First off- WOW, are you dedicated?! The amount of time it must have taken to finish this, and to such an impeccably high standard as well, it blows me away; you put so much effort into all of your works and it is just so impressive.
I've given you a 3 for originality since I assume you didn't design the sprite yourself- if I'm wrong then please forgive me!
Technique, as usual- top notch. I don't know how you get them so continuous, mine are always wonky and bumpy and not evenly ironed, but yours are just pristine absolutely every time; a skill you should be very proud of!
Keep up the good work, werbermanjagermanjagenwerbanjensen! ..Did I get it right?

Thanks for the kind words! I did design the sprite though. Just so you know. This was 100% my own work. ^_^

I consider myself as an Bead Artist, not pro but i consider im good, but you sir are AWESOME. I can't afford too many beads for one art cuz in my country i can't find them so i bought them via amazon. You just earned my watch on you, hope someday i get this good.Β
PD: How u do to not get the pieces with that annoying "curve" they take after they get fused?

Werbenjagermanjensen In reply to Mlm0 [2013-11-08 01:19:00 +0000 UTC]
Thank you! ^_^ I really appreciate that. Typically when I'm ironing, even when the piece is fully fused, I'm constantly flipping the piece back and forth. When you have both sides ironed, the side you've ironed last will rise due to the heat being more intense on that side. Which is why you need to get it about equally as hot on both sides. As well, placing something heavy like text books on top of the piece helps, but you should place them on the side that's warping up slightly.Β
As for this piece, I actually didn't iron it. Here's how I've been doing things as of late: werbenjagermanjensen.deviantarβ¦
Once again, thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate it.Β

Ohh i didin't realized that you ironed them in both sides. I like to fuse only one side so i got one side pixeled and one side is an his natural, i don't have any reference because i started this DA this week, my original DA have a name that i don't like and use anymore and i can't afford premiun to change it lol. When i upload my art i will tell u so u can see what i'm talking about.
For the text books part i started to do that since this year, and helped a lot, was an idea i got cuz i know that it's because of the heat, but in some of my pieces it starts to rise slowly with the time even when they are cold :S If you don't mind we can talk by msg so u don't get spam here
And as i said great job dude, from all the pixel art i see on google or DA, you are the first one that makes me this amazed
PD: English isn't my native language so pardon me if i use wrong words sometimes.
