This is what I find work: Iron til the holes are gone on the front, then iron lightly on the back. They maintain their structure better that way, and in my opinion, they look better completely ironed, though some would disagree.

usually I prefer having them lightly ironed on the 'front' side, and completely ironed on the back, so I try to flip the sprites I work with. I was just wondering though, because if you can get it completely ironed without twisting it at all, it does look good, just not my tastes lol. but thanks for the advice!

I used to do that, but I always forgot to flip the sprites before I did them. xD
