After searching for HOURS and DAYS for an illustration that fit my A) idea of a woodland archer and B) my standards, I am so happy to have found this! Beautiful, practical (for the most part, boots are better in undergrowth but eh), and I love her face so much.

This looks fantastic.
I don't want to be "that guy", but shouldn't it be Elven Ranger?

I love her outfit. It looks really elvish and at the same time fitting to her tasks as a ranger (except for the hole at the top of her trousers, could be a little bit uncomfortable sneaking through the undergrowth with bare skin at the hip )

Would it be ok for you if I used this picture as an Inspiration for real life elvish Larping-Gear? I don't want to copy it or anything, just as an impulse for my future garments, but it would feel right doing that without asking the artist first

I assume the hole at the top of the trousers is due to her not wearing trousers, but hose. More historical that way, I'm thinking.

Great pic all around, simple but with a lot of character to it.

Well, a hose would be more "historical" indeed, but then she would wear undergarments beneath, so she wouldn't expose her skin either way (at least that's the style that I'm familiar with)
Speaking from experience, crawling through the undergrowth can be rather uncomortable, especially if there are blackberries about (and I'm usually wearing leathern trousers and a coat)

But regardless of that, I completly agree with your conclusion: Its without doubt a great pic, that conveys a great deal of atmosphere.
