moves: Thunder Punch and Focus Blast

And so the mighty dragon had been struck down from the darkened heavens to the nightmarish earth he had made below, fire roaring about the ravaged wasteland that painted the area in hellish flames. A fitting place really, for the demon he battled below felt right at home amongst the flickering flames and dancing shadows. This literal hell on earth would be the dragons final resting place as the same fist which commanded the lightning from the heavens he had once enjoyed his freedom tightened around his throat and heavens might coursed through his body, lighting him up with unimaginable pain that he could not even roar out to protest against. Helpless against the demons might, he could naught but writhe in pain as the demon sneered, preparing what was most certainly the final blow...

This thing was by far the most fun, and most challenging piece i have ever done for one of these. After hours, nay, days of scrounging through sketch after sketch, it was a miracle i found one that worked for me of course i cant take all the credit though. helpful hints here adn there from my friends helped me push this thing to the limit and im damn proud they did.

to be honest the real challenge here was in two parts: one, mostly because i was still stuck in that mindset of trying to capture the battle at its 'turning point' and never really one of victory of defeat to try an showcase the best of both malcom an my opponents. here that was fixed by showing a perhaps a victorious moment, showing off malcoms viciousness and his intense drive to win through any means necessary, even if that means extreme harm to his foe. and while i would have loved to create a piece that showcased a mighty clash between these two masters of the land and air respectively, i just couldnt do it.

the second was definitely lighting as i realized that, with the fire from Flamethrowers already used in the match and with the electricity on malcoms arm and hand, i was going to be pushing what skills i had to make it look believable. thankfully i was able to figure it out with some advice from others and find that perfect blend that just looks great.

hope you dont mind malcom potentially beating your dragon into within an inch of his life zere owo;
