*arrives at the Chaotix Detective Agency and takes a deep breath before knocking on their door*
Espio: *opens the door and raises a brow*
What brings you here, ma'am?
JasMine: *in her mind: Jeez, "ma'am"? I'm not THAT old...*
Um, I'm here to get some pointers on how to track a threat. I heard, from numerous people, that you guys are the best of the best when it comes to things of that nature.
Espio: Hm, then you have heard the truth of how we operate. However, I'm not sure if we could teach you much.
*scratches his cheek lightly as his eyes drift away*
JasMine: I think y'all can! I wouldn't be here at your doorstep if I didn't think so!
*rummages through her quills and pulls out a few fifty dollar bills, catching the chameleon off guard*
I'll pay you guys! I believe that you guys can really help me!
Vector: *opens the door wider with a huge grin on his face*
Pay, you say?~
Espio: *facepalms, knowing what's next to come*
Vector: Well, don't we have the perfect lesson for you, little pinky~^^
*pulls her into their office and rests his hand on her head*
JasMine: Little pinky?
*looks at him, slightly irked*
Vector: Today's your lucky day because starting and ending today, you will personally receive a tracking lesson from yours truly, Vector, annnnnnddddddddd...
*swiftly takes the money from her hands and whistles for his little bee companion*
Charmy!
Charmy: *swoops over to them and smiles*
We're teaching a lesson? This is gonna be so fun! ^^
Vector: Charmy, this here is...
*looks down at her, signaling for her to introduce herself*
JasMine: JasMine~^^
*winks smiling brightly as she throws up a peace sign*
Vector: *shakes her head around as he talks, unintentionally*
We'll be teaching JasMine, here, how to do some good old fashioned tracking~^^
Charmy: Yay! ^^
JasMine: *dizzily smiles as Vector stops shaking her head around*
Espio: *sighs softly then cracks a small smile*
I don't think I'll be able to standby and watch you two "attempt" to teach her how to track properly. So I will help as well.
JasMine: *removes Vector's hand from her head and excitedly squeaks*
Thank you guys so much. This really really really means a lot to me~^^
Vector: Well JasMine, it's like I always say:
"Once we start a job . . . we will finish that job. It's our policy, because we are Team Chaotix!"

When JasMine says "track down a threat", she means her father. She knows that she's become stronger since the last time they were in each other's presence, so she wants to finally end his control. Once and for all.
Also, did anyone catch the Sonic Heroes quote I put in? I tweaked it a bit, but it's still powerful to me.^^
