Really nice, but not a zeppelin.
This is a non-rigid dirigible balloon (no supporting frame or external keel) with a suspend gondola.
The first true dirigible was built by Baptiste Jules Henri Jacques Giffard in 1852.
A Zeppelin is type of rigid dirigible balloon (full internal supporting frame containing multiple gas cells) with the gondola and engine structures attached to the frame.
The first was the life's work of Count Ferdinand Adolf Heinrich August Graf von Zeppelin, who completed it in 1900 at the age of 62.
Sorry, I just have a knack for history. I have been studding the history of aeronautics for a few years now.

That is blatantly wrong, look in any household dictionary for proof, (1 , 2 , 3 , 4 )
-Or any book pertaining to the matter. ( 1 , 2 , and the obvious, Wiki➡ )

And? In universe, this is a zeppelin, the fact we would call it a balloon doesn't change that.

So if a game or book unironically referred to a bicycle as a 'Ford' or a motorcycle as a car, that would be okay with you?

If said bicycle or motorcycle is known as such in the lore, yeah. What does it matter if Warcraft calls it a zeppelin when there is no example of a actual zeppelin present in the universe?

Note how I said 'unironically'.
Misnaming something ironically would be, such as in a movie, a senile old man shouting "We can out run them! I have a motorcycle!" then showing him jumping on to an old bicycle.
Misnaming something unironically, such as in a foreign B-movie, would be everyone calling motorcycles, cars, trucks, ect. "Fords" because they legitimately don't know that there is a difference between them and, through lack of the most basic of research, believe the all vehicles are called Fours.
As for the second part of your statement:
Well, does this mean that Ferdinand von Zeppelin exists in the world of WoW?
If he doesn't: Then why use his name and misrepresent his invention?

Blizzard liked zeppelin more than blimp or dirigible would be my guess, far as I know there isn’t a reason given for the naming in game, that’s what they are called. Not that the incorrect terminology changes anything in regards to the picture, what is called a zeppelin in game is drawn here for a WoW guild, Badgers on a zeppelin. Seems fitting to me.

If there isn't a reason for the naming, and the name does not fit the definition of the word, then why use it?

Go to the Warcraft forums and ask, maybe a staff member will answer.

A masterpiece of dream and fantasy, a poem of happiness and adventure, a one-of-a-kind piece worthy of having an accompanying tale.

Thank goodness this was designed as an unrealistic fantasy piece to be readable on a t-shirt then, and not as a flyable schematic.

Thanks for sharing your observations on a cartoon piece that had specific requirements such as having both the zeppelin and the characters readable at a size scaled down for clothing!
Other cartoon flying machines with cartoon proportions must infuriate you.

I love how angry you are about innacurate cartoon balloons, yet you can't even spell balloon correctly.

No, you can't. You spelled it "baloon" both times you used the word. Considering that you care enough about balloons and flying crafts enough to belittle someone on their artwork, you should at least care enough to properly spell a word that the average English-speaking human learns how to spell in elementary school.
Something you never thought about: Did I ever say I gave a shit? No. I pointed out the irony of the fact you are going around insulting people about something you aren't even capable of articulating. I wasn't arguing; you began an argument. And, frankly, there IS grounds for the artist's argument, considering the fact that you have absolutely no idea how big the craft depicted here actually is. How do you know the badgers aren't 40-feet-tall? You don't. The picture is fantasy, in an alternate universe wherein these animals can also wear armor and pilot flying machines, so there's nothing to say how large or small that balloon actually is. Ergo, how can you determine its size?
(By the way, I posted no hate-- I simply pointed out an inaccuracy, the same as you did! If it isn't wrong for YOU to do it, then how is it wrong for someone ELSE to do something nigh-identical?
MSPaint does not equal bad art. griffsnuff.deviantart.com/art/… " this<="" a=""> was drawn in MSPaint. MSPaint is actually a pretty awesome program, if you know how to use it; and considering many people are able to use it to create some pretty gorgeous art, that really isn't any excuse.
All-in-all, the comment was just unnecessary. Obviously the point of the image was the joke of the badgers being on a flying ship. If this had been a Zeppelin Awareness shirt, or a guide to the technical intricacies of building your own flying machine, then the innacuracy may be cause for alarm. But, as a comical image? Hardly so.)

Oh, you've wasted nothing!
Everyone else gets the satisfaction of knowing you're a chicken-shitted coward who can't back up their arguments.
Good luck making it I. The real world! Or not. I'm sure you can probably spend the rest of your life playing Cowwa Doody and nobody will mind. ;)
