When I found that all the Mercenary characters were just alt costumes, i cried inside. I really wanted Leon and Ada in HD.

I hate Sheva, she gets three render and Jill only gets two. I wanted to see RE5 Jill in her RE3 outfit!

It was time for a Change, and having Sheva as a change was good. She brings more interst to the story anyways and more cool fighting moves. *__*

Jill has cooler moves. Sheva has no story she was irrelevent in the game. Had it not been for Wesker, Chris or Jill the game would have floped. Sheva is a weak character and offers nothing to the actual storyline. People didnt want a change they wanted a conclusion. Instead they got more plot holes and more 'what happened to? ' questions.

I know this is old but I must answer; no offense but when Resident Evil first took off no one had a real back story besides knowing each other, being a part of a group and stuck in the mansion. Jill still has no real backstory [from what I know] besides what's happened with Umbrella and her teammates. Same can be said for Rebecca, Billy, Brad Vickers, Carlos Oliveria.
Characters like Barry, Chris, Claire, Steve, Alfred, and Alexia came from a history of people obviously by looking at their family. What I'm saying is we'll learn more about Sheva as it goes along. I honestly enjoyed her character, she got on very well with Chris and had her own agenda in helping. She's a strong female character with strong morals. I like that. Same can be said for Jill as well, think they'd very much get along.

Sheva was a character forced upon the audience. She should have been in decperate escape and Jill to be the one to say ' youre times up you son of a bitch'havign no knowledge of who wesker was killed whatever fondness I might have developed. Her character was just god awful and nobody missed her when she was disgarded in RE afterlife.

I feel Resident Evil 5 as a whole was forced on the RE fanbase considering I've seen way too many people dislike it, well as coming to like it and outright doing so but going by the characters in general. I found Jill pretty dull and boring for years, still prefer Claire over her anyday. It wasn't until the book the Umbrella Conspiracy by S.D Perry that I enjoyed Jill's character. Point is I don't see how Sheva is a terrible character, I honestly didn't mind her edition to the cast, and think she's a great one.
Because the same could be said once again for characters like: Carlos and Steve, some people were annoyed by them but eventually came to accept their characters.
Anyway. That's assuming far too much, Sheva has tons of fans from what I know. Sure, not everyone will like her, but saying no one missed her is bullshit. All I know is when I watched the movie I was glad to see Chris, lucky to see him on the big screen because the RE films hardly throw us a bone with the awesome ones. Can't expect much more when they're not following the games anyway.

food,stopping Uroboros,saving "Jill"
helping to kill "Wesker",all during the ages of 8-22(correct me if im wrong).

I dont even remember what we were talking about since this was like, a month ago. But I'm on Batman now so sorry if Im not really into talking about RE5 anymore. Im in rapture right now XD this game is BRILLIANT. Have you played this beauty yet?! Talk to me if you have. I cannot wait for the second installment. Sorry again I'm just not into RE5 anymore teh DLC sealed that deal.

Oh man you need to play this! IM am not kidding you're missing out! It's really worth it, I dont like spending my hard earnt cash on alot of things sometimes. But this was totally worth it I promise you'll love it.

Hmm from my point and the fans point of view. It seems to be that Sheva isn't in the least bit weak, Nor is Jill. I can understand that you would say that due to your own ill will towards her. It also seems that Sheva Alomar isn't in the least bit "Irrelevent to the game, since she did win the best Gaming side kick award and the most hottest Girl of video games award aswell She actually came in 7th. The creators did a good job on her character design and knows how to hang with the punches without being the damsel in Distress. She is a strong woman and is a good example towards the female audience. :/ It seemed that the proof of the awards and game articles do show that Sheva was a BIG hit in RE5 and is also plays a BIG part in the game. Look on youtube you will find your proof. ^__^ Like she said "Partners until the End" It is good for Chris Redfield to have a new face. Like a fresh breath of air.

You don't speak for fans and neither do I. It's your veiw point and not the fans veiw point. Go to IMDB to the biohazard boards and see for yourself. People don't like Sheva for various reasons. They are also fans really die hard fans too some of them wrote scripts and screen plays and alot of the fanfiction of FF.net. I personally still dont like Ada as a character a walking cliche is what she was. But I am still very much a fan too. And what ill will are you talking about? Sheva isn't a real person, she's just pixels. I hold as much ill will towards her I would to ink on paper. I just analyse every detail, it a flaw of mine.
I know stronger characters that set better examples. In terms of RE characters it would be Claire thats alot stronger, and a better example. Claire never put herself in the world of Umebrella out of revenge like Sheva did " some one has to pay for that' ( talk about blind vengence she didnt even know who she was going to take it out on just so long as it was bioharad terrorist WE and she didnt even know who Albert Wesker was...how can you be Redfeild partner, or a BSAA member at all and NOT know who Albert Wesker was? ), Claire did it out of caring. Sheva is a coward in my mind " Chris look around we should both get the hell out of here. What are you talking about? That woman in the data file? Are you even sure it's the same person!?" that line asasinated Sheva. Had Chris agreed to leave she would have been the one leading the way. Also, most of the protagonists of biohazard are never damsiles in distress so there was nothing new there. Not only that but unlike Jill who freaken tackled Wesker out a window ( even chris could manage that...go JILL! ), Sheva gets thrown around like a rag doll by both Jill and Wesker in the cutscenes, she doesnt lay a single blow to either of them one hilarius moment is when shes got teh gun to Jills head andf Wesker just elbow her, I swear I cracked up, then Jill just back kicks her and she goes flying and for some reason doesnt get back up as fast as Jill had when Wesker hits her and she went flying into teh bookcase. While Claire as you know literally puts herself in danger to find her brother, not out of venegence but out of love. Then went off to find Sherry, then all the work she did in Degeneration- yeah Claire is the strong role model not Sheva. Sheva wasn't the BIG hit the birdlady was. Sheva was the controversial character, with the racist card being pulled. People still think she was only added more to the game because people called biohazard racist. It was the birdlady people were going nuts about. People wanted to know who she was, if she were Sherry or Jill or hell even rebecca or claire. Sheva was just chris's partner, thats all people knew and they liked her ass. These are my POV's mind you I'm basically copying and pasting what people had said over the years. Sheva is liked by people even I like her to an extent ( at least her tattoo and , she's nice to look at) but you'll find the majority of people resent her creators because in the end she got to kill wesker. A man she never even knew. While Jill was right there and had gone through hell at his hands from the very beginning. Thats just one of many reasons why people arent happy with Sheva. To them , she had no business going on after Jill was freed. Jill should have gone on and Sheva should have gone looking for a way out. It would have made more sence and even given Sheva and Josh more character development and history.

I agree with SeiMone,if it was just Jill and Chris,the plot would be too repeating,and if saying Sheva getting revenge is bad,then basically your saying Chris & Jill are bad,the main reason they went to the spencer estate to find wesker and get revenge.Sorry to interfere in your little "Fanboy" argument.
