Glad you like it! I agree... at that time it was pretty bold to dress her that way but I'm glad they did. Aha!

I try to make the faces have some subtle quality that helps the pic even though it isn't always noticed. Lol The blush thing is something I seem to use a lot in recent pics - glad you liked it! I might do another one of Daphne at some point - she's awesome. I wanted to read that Dragon's Lair comic... don't know if you've seen it or not.

Glad to hear your feeling better. What were you ill with? hahaha True. One of the few perks of working at a cinema. Got to watch it in 3D for free. I have to admit, the film was pretty kick ass. lol The special effects were brilliant, too. I'd give the film 9/10 stars. Amazing, but with a few teeny tiny little holes, but I can't be assed to let them ruin the film for me. Have you gone to see it, yet?

Germy bastards. Tell 'em to get vaccinated. lol It's worth going to see. Yeah, I get to see films that are free listed (allow free guest passes) for free. Popular films are free list suspended for their first 2 weeks out, so I'd have to pay if I couldn't wait, but I can. I hate seeing films when it's busy. Other than watching free movies....that's really the only bonus of working at a cinema. I'm currently a cashier with supervisory duties (AKA: underpaid supervisor). lol The best job is ushering. Nothing makes a day better than when you find money while cleaning a screen. hehe Poor Avatar has a LOT of haters, indeed, but I think it's just jealousy. It really is a good film. And the plot holes aren't really PLOT holes, more as just info holes, where you're like "Ok....and how exactly does that work?" lol But they're insignificant to the story. I've had about 3-4 headache complaints, but every time, the person was sitting really close to the screen. lol

Yeaaaah... I normally don't go when the movie first opens. I do that sometimes but I prefer a little more space in the theater. lol I like this free list deal of yours! Hook me up with that! Aha Is it true that some blockbuster flicks send most of the cash back to the studio for the first few weeks? Did everyone get a bonus at your theater thanks to Avatar? lol I see some theaters are still running it! Haha... ushers find money... I like that. Did you start as an usher? When do you get to watch the free flicks? I need to see it, but I hear it causes deep depression when you have to go back to the real world?? There's a support group and everything... LOL ER... Yeah, same here. The last film I watched, the day it was released, was Star Wars Episode Three. lol The vast majority of the money from ticket sales period goes back to the studios. The cinemas get a tiny amount. That's why cinema food is extortionately priced. It's how it pays for everything. HA! I wish we got a bonus! Our cinema just stopped playing it. I'm quite happy really. We've had it for over 3 months, and I was getting sick of all Avatards coming to watch it for the 8th time. I don't care how great a film is, I won't watch it more than twice. Yeah, my first shift was ushering. At our cinema, you start out as Team Member, and you do one of three jobs (which changes every so often): ushering, box (selling tickets), or retail (selling food and drinks). I was shoved on box A LOT! They tend to find a good spot for you and leave you there. lol You get to watch free films once you get your employee film card (2 weeksish). hahaha I wouldn't worry about ADS (Avatar Depression Syndrome). Only retards, that don't go outside enough, manage to contract that. If anything, I was inspired, not depressed, after watching it. And if you're worried about a headache, just take some Tylenol beforehand. Alice was ok. When compared to the books, it's really off, but as a film on its own, it's pretty good. You can't beat those visuals, though. Great stuffs. Haven't seen HTTYD yet, as it's free list suspended until the 16th. I'm dying to see it, though! *falls onto the floor from tickles*

But I figured you saw it (no girl can resist toolish Edward lmao), so I'll ask what you thought. Oh! What about 2012??? LOL I did see that one... was it popular at your cinema? I had to laugh at how much Roland Emmerich went balls out on that movie! But here's my thing... can they do anything to make the movie experience more enjoyable when prick teens and unstable peeps are in the theater? It'd be cool to have like pods or something like in Revenge of the Sith when Palpatine and Anakin are watching that freak show... lol. Like your own fun bubble or something lol... That wouldn't surprise me. The greedy cinemas. As for the permanent discount, you can either 1) Get a job at your local cinema. or 2) Bring your own food. To be honest, I have no clue as to how the ads work. The cinema must get money from that, I would think.

Thank god, no, I haven't had to escort anyone out. hahaha If I had to, I'd just get someone else to do it. Weird characters, eh? Not per say.....it was pretty much just flocks of fan girls with the average age of 13. We had a midnight showing of New Moon, and I said to one of the staff, "You watch. The only fucking people going to show up for this are going to be screaming fan girls with either 'I love Jacob.' or 'I love Edward.' painted on their face." And guess what the first group of people were. Needless to say, it was a nightmare. Over 400 fangirls swarmed the foyer. It was like the stampede scene in The Lion King, but with teenagers. To be honest, I haven't seen the Twilight films, and I don't think I ever will. I may watch it, but only if a heterosexual male over the age of 20 recommends it. lol Yeah, Dragon and Clash are now, FL'd. Dunno when I'll watch them. I'm not too fussed about Clash, but Dragon I have to see. Same with Kick Ass. Need to see that sometime, too. lol Hopefully, I'll watch either one before or after one of my shifts this weekend. We've got a staff showing of Iron Man 2 this Thursday, which I'm pretty spazzed about. I didn't get around to seeing 2012, but it did ok. It was busy, but rarely packed out. lol I'll have to rent it. People disrupting a film and disturbing guests can be kicked out after they've had a warning. I would much prefer the fun bubble or something, though. Perhaps one day, when technology advances enough, we'll have them.

Do you bust people if you catch them sneaking food into the theater??? I remember the Boondocks episode when they brought microwave popcorn inside but Riley forgot to pop it. LOL So if a guy is like two tickets to Space Chimps... and he stumbles and all these snacks fall out of his coat, what are ya supposed to do?? lol You should take his snacks and sell it back to him. aha

I would hate to deal with all those crazy Twilight fans... Team Edward, Team Jacob, and Team Trash (for the writer). LOL In fairness, I shouldn't judge it without seeing it. I'm sure the books are better than the films (like always), but I'd feel a little funny walking up to the register with a Twilight novel. I could say it's for a girl, but I'd probably laugh and botch my fib! Did any of the male workers try to seduce all those fangirls??? Or do they only have eyes for Ed and Jacob??? Heeey, if I guy rolled up in there with a realistic Edward mask, think they'd fall for it? Lol!

Did you see HTTYD??? No love for clash of the titans??? lol But I thought you'd like the star... same guy from Avatar! If you're a male in Avatar, all women have a crush on you. Disagree??? lol Oh! How was Iron Man 2??? I thought the previews make it seem like there's too many characters this time... but maybe not. Staff showings happen when the Theater is closed?? Or do some people not watch it with the rest? heh 2012 made me laugh at how insane the director was about ways to destroy a landmark. The guys at work slam it but I always laugh and say it's great. And it's junk science was very educational... aha. Yeah, we need to open a theater chain with the fun bubble! aha Oh... this is kinda bad, but I have to ask... any young couple ever get caught doin' the deed in the theater?? LOL <3

Actually, people are allowed to bring food to our cinema. However, not hot food, like a Big Mac and fries or pizza or KFC. lol I have had to tell people to eat it up before they stink up the auditorium with it. When I watch a film, I bring a whole shopping bag FULL of crap. Tis cheaper and better than cinema food. Mind you, food's not so bad, it's the sneaking in of alcohol that's a problem. I've found wine, Jack Daniel's, vodka, beer cans, just all sorts. Although, nothing's worse than finding a used condom. I've personally never caught anyone gettin jiggy with it in the screens, but others have. hehe It happens every couple months. You can deal with the problem in a number of ways: Tell them to get out now. Just stand and watch. Pretend you didn't see it. Or, my fave, cheer them on. lol

I know what you mean. I haven't read the Twilight books or seen the film (and I probably will never), so I shouldn't judge it so harshly. However, when you see the audience it attracts, you can't help but assume it's shit. I've heard the books are better, but still crap. You could always order the book online. No one would ever know. If the mask was realistic enough, you might just get their attention. Otherwise, you don't exist. hahaha

I did see HTTYD, and I thought it was really good on the account of Toothless. Story was ok. Nothing special. Toothless was just awesome though. Sam Worthington's acting in Clash was just horrible. When they go to meet Medusa, he says, "Don't look this bitch in the eye!" And I don't think Crocodile Dundee could have said it any more Australian. Some girls might like the whole Avatar thing, but I don't. Looks cool and all, but it's nothing to crush on. :s

Iron Man 2 was good. The ending with Whiplash could have been longer, bit it was still overall quite good. Our staff showings are done before the cinema opens. Usually it's at 11am, since we won't open til 1 or 2 in the afternoon on weekdays.
