I put together this CV for a work experience interview I had a couple of years ago, which was sent through digitally. The response I got was initially quite mixed; a CV is usually a boring sheet of A4, but I thought as I was going for a place in a design firm I should kind of challenge the idea of what a CV was and design it like so, especially since they curiously didn't ask to see a portfolio or anything similar. The people at the design firm quickly saw the idea of this type of CV as a positive, and I got the place.In addition, I also adapted this CV into a more extensive combined CV and Portfolio for university interviews for entry onto a Graphic Design course (Think of it as it is but with the work examples section expanded across numerous spreads) The reaction to this was also very positive. I also show this to clients if they want a brief overview of what I do, my skills and examples of my work.

I wish I knew why Graphic Designers of your caliber seem to think that their talent transfers readily to the web.
It is somewhat like if an architect decided they have all the training needed to be a road planner.
You are a talented Graphic Designer, stick to your druthers and seek Print Media work. Magazines, Posters, Still Advertisement.
What I have seen of your web design is pretty, but simplistic in function. It is hind-thought while what the web needs is Interaction Design. It is more akin to Game Design than Graphic Design. It needs visuals to take a back-seat. And if you look at the most popular sites on the web, you'll see just how small-scale your kind of work becomes.
Why relegate yourself to being well-known in snooty Web Designer circles, and un-used by serious money-bag-sites? Why not bring refreshment to print design? Innovate? Why fester in a field bloated and without the opportunity for stardom? Or even real advancement?

Yep I agree with everyone else, this looks great but a CV is two pages max. This is a fantastic base for a portfolio though.

i think is not a great work, for a cv .
No one will read so many pages for only a cv.
Cmon, if u wanna impress, u have to use a portfolio and to made a cool portfolio u have to show ur works, not ur school background...
who cares if u are good in math, u have to show only the things that u can do better than all the other person that try to get a job.

It looks nice, but I doubt many places would read it. You really want to compact it down to a single page, two at the most.

Only downside I see is that's it's on so many pages, when I look at CV I cant really be bothered with the ones that span page after page after page, the shorter and more concise are the ones that I prefer. But then again, the flashiness might make me take a look anyway ;>
