oh i completely agree, i would say the T3000 is still the most advance terminator yet and at first I was one of those people who thought it was stupid to turn John into one but now I am a more grown woman, it actually makes a lot of since, by skynet's logic it would make since that "hey why are we fighting the very same guy that has beaten us time and time again (pun not intended) why not make him join our side" and I know dark fate is the 4th timeline we got but when I heard the rumors, I honestly thought the end of genisys was actually the birth of legion, maybe it was there fault for creating another skynet

BUT I was saying if they had to put it back in genisys timeline, I think that's a way they could have had it, like in destroying Skynet, they accidentally created legion. isn't that the basic idea for T2, given how cyberdyne had the T800 arm, that boosted the future tech which made Skynet the ability to create the T1000. and it is in the T1-4 series, it starts in that timeline BUT it goes back and create another timeline since they basically pushed the events of T2 to were sarah was a kid, but the events of the first movies was going to happen (which made me think why it took so long for them to destroy the T1000) and I actually have a crazy fan theory as to who the new t800 in dark fate is and it may add another film series into the terminator timeline

first thanks for the compliment and here how I see it, the way I can see it is that either john father was someone else and the terminator going back in time actually created a alternate john connor (since every movie john looks different) OR its a kind of time loop where by the terminator going back in time, they inadvertently created the john from there time, if the T800 never was sent back that means kyle wouldn't and would create john, and you see where I'm going with this right, now I think t3 and ts are in the same timeline because the events of judgment day happening and basically destroying all traces of Skynet, judgment day was delated until the TX came and kicked it back up into overdrive (in the original script of T3, the tx actually uploaded a future version of Skynet which combine with present Skynet and then we get the full world killer Skynet that destroy the world) I think it's like the t5000 from genesis where the TX came from a different future to help Skynet evolve and help destroy the world

I see but then again it's like they say in endgame, there are multiple timelines, that branch off, kind of like how I did my timeline. before genesis, there was only 2 real timeline, scc and the "Main" timeline. but I kind of do put my headset into the who faith will happen some way or the other, it just how you put the pieces, if you ever seen final destination series it's a lot like that, no matter what you do, it will fine a way to rework itself, and I hate to bring the mk11 game into this but in that (spoilers btw) the t800 ending shows that every timeline he see will result in Skynet downfall, so he made a new timeline where robots and human are in piece and to keep the knowledge safe, he throw himself into the bottomless river, never to be found (also possible spoilers for Terminator Dark Fate) I kind of saw the opening of it, more like bits and piece and im not going to say hat happen but im just going to ask is that the same t800 from t2, t1 or just another one? but also I just thought of this but the theory I had did actually happen in the movies because with genesis rewriting the events of t2 but place before t1 and with the character of Pops basically a alternate Bob, and before u ask I think that pops is just a alternate version of uncle bob from T2, again in different events
