PAINT IS AMAZING
I used to do everything on paint but with the time I got a kinda sick of it XD but its still awesome c:

I agree. Most of my works are done in paint just using Gimp on the backgrounds. It depends on the artist.

Oh wow, it looks like you've got a pretty good handle on shading with it O.O It's cool to see the different ways people hybridize their art using different things, like paint with Gimp touch-ups or Photoshop and Sai.

Thanks. It took years to get the shading half way decent. I'm still working on getting tinting specifically on the hair, but practice makes perfect. Yes it is. People need to remember, it's not the program that makes the art. It's the artist. People can do amazing things in simple programs like Paint and Gimp.Β

It really isn't a bad program, though I prefer the older version to the updated one that now comes standard with windows, it's still nice to work in. I've seen some awesome pieces come out of it, all it takes is the patience to work without layers or the special features.
You've done a great job here, I really like the eyes!

Yeah, the older version definitely has a few edges over the new one ^^, It's incredible what some people can do with it!
