Description So this is the NEWEST and LAST color job I will do on this pic. And no, this is in no way, shape, or form inspired by Avatar. I did this before the movie came out. It doesn't even look like Avatar anyway.

I changed the lips, hair, ... the background changed on accident...pencil was used in some places, the tree was made more three-dimensional looking (and so was the staff). Her eyes/eyebrows are different, too.

I want to commend you on your work. Hands down you are to me the best artist I have seen on DA, and one of the best I have seen period! Your work is amazing! I can't see how you say you need practice. Your style and use of color is so unique. Wow! I am so amazed by your works, I just don't know where to begin. I know now that I have a favorite artist, just by looking thru your gallery . Keep up the good work, I can't' wait to see more of your stuff! If you have any other stuff online that is not here, please let me know!

Thanks! I hadn't seen them, I must say they are all amazing. Loish is incredibly talented especially. I was amazed. But still, to me, I really like your stuff better. I think to put it simply, your stuff is just more creative. Some people just got it All people involved in any artform draw from and are inspired by others, but it seems to me you have the special gift of drawing from within yourself more than the average artist, and you have a very unique style!!

but I still don't believe you. Seriously, if you think I'm more creative than then you're missing out. And you should see loish's trichrome blue animation [link] and the others, if you find them. And then look at ! She created an entire RPG all on her own, and she's coming up with more [link] and then there's who is absolutely creative in everything. And my friend would kill me if I didn't mention because she loves him (friend--don't kill me if you read that I just told somebody that!)

anyway, I'm SURE you can find wayyy more creative and wayyy more skilled artists than myself. But thank you very much for all the compliments. Don't sell yourself short with me, is all I'm saying.

Not possible to get sold short on your stuff my friend, it's too awesome. Those links were pretty awesome. Ok, so you don't have your own RPG, and you don't have a million characters who live within their own intricate worlds. But here's what I mean. If I clicked on DA and saw some of that stuff on the front page, I would no doubt be impressed! If yours was up there alongside it, yours would easily stand out. I would click on yours in a split second. No matter how good alot of the art out there is, I think so much of it still conforms and follows the crowd. I love their work, don't get me wrong! Loish is pretty incredible. But Your art doesen't seem to conform much, it just looks so unique. I like to take the road less travelled Not that different and unique is always good, but in your case, it most definately is! Look at the girls face on "SECRET PLACE". Where do you see a face like that? Not similiar to anything i've seen, even that little detail stands out. I think so much stuff out there seems so digital, it looks good, but digital can look cold as well. I really like the forests you have created in your works. They have depth and I hope to see some more forests in your future stuff Been browsing this site for a few years, and saw many amazing artists, but none of their works caught my eye as much as yours. Keep up the good work!!

It's nice to have your support-- I truly value it! If you like the more traditional artwork (I agree that digital is VERY popular) there's also who does watercolor. I look at her stuff for inspiration. She does lovely paintings!

You're welcome! Happy to support ya, your work is very beautiful! As the artist, You will probably always be your own harshest critic. But the people who love your work will always be the ones to help you understand the beauty of it. Yeah, I really love her stuff, I had faved "wrong kind of woods", something about the perspective and trees in that is awesome. Makes your heart beat kinda faster. Her work reminds me of old school disney stuff for some reason, awesome use of color!
