For one of my first ever friends on deviantArt, ~Kileaiya , who passed away 4th of September this year.Her namesake Star Wars fan character, a Cathar girl, was the first friend of the first incarnation of my character Zephan Cether (confused yet?). Here they are with some cookies, a sort of inside joke we developed way back then. I initially would have drawn a more serious picture, but I suppose instead of dwelling on the negative feelings, I ought to remember what a happy person she was.
This was a direct pen sketch colored with a gray marker and white conte pencil.
I will miss her!

I just found this randomly, and it saddened me. I decided to look at her profile, and I cried when I realized that, aside from the profile comments, there was no way of knowing that she had died. It reminds me of a song by Eminem. He's writing a letter to a fan, only to watch the news and find out that he's dead. I'm not sure what I'm getting at here, but it hurts to know that an amazing person can live and die without being well-known by everyone.

I'm very unhappy to hear about your loss from two years ago but remember she wouldn't like you thinking about the negative of her death she would hope for you to be happy and if you only stepped on the negative all that could happen is you would make their trip to heaven in vain....

Its a sweet picture, and your right, we should never dwell on the negative. Instead we should accept what happend, and hold on to the good times we once had with our friends past, ya know!

Why do we cry when people die? Is it because they are free and we are not?
This is nice, even though it is sad, I like this, it's almost like an immortal snapshot of the memories you have...remember the good times, let the bad ones melt away.

I'm sorry to hear that....your friend on that picture reminds myself of my first and only pet i've ever had, it was a cat, it played as kitty at teenager years i miss her, she died 2 years ago T_T
