Description
A new original character slowly reveals himself. I'm still undecided on his eye color (bright@$$ green in the meantime) and hair style/color. I didn't mean to stylize the face so much but oh well that's what fell out of my pencil. But his personality is emerging faster than the rest of him, it seems. Eventually I'll get to know him better. When I do, I'll share his name.
Tools: Sketched with 0.3mm mechanical pencil, extremely half-baked coloring done in Corel Painter 12 (lol just got it today) and Adobe Photoshop.

I really like the way the light blue and the white strokes of light interact with each other in this piece. Your character's eyes have an enchanting quality because of the emerald green and shadows and highlights placed on them. I also like how the picture has a slight watercolor texture as well ( especially the strokes under the chin).

It's interesting when a character's personality forms before their appearance. It makes for a very frustrating adventure when you want to give a face to the person. But in the end, those usually make for the best three dimensional people.

True that. I've been doodling him for practice so much that his face changed already. Whoever this might have been could turn into a separate character...

It's so good to see that you're back! I missed your art so much... I'm looking forward to seeing more!
I like how you felt the character as someone you still need to know more, as if he was real... This makes he looks more alive and interesting!

Ahhh...there's that unique free flowing style I missed so much. <3 I'm in the same position myself with a character. Sort of drew him, but he has no name. I'll find it by the end of the story though.
