Because she is a redhead in the comics, and the client specifically asked for the comic version to be used. It was only the animated series that gave her black hair.

Thank you WK4E. My biggest worry was that I forgot Irdu Mal's wings, but since they are constructs I figure I can get away with it this time. And if you think Blackfire looks good here, wait'll you see the whole outfit.

On that note, Blackfire's eyes ARE green in the comics. They're only purple in the cartoon, and you did specifically ask me to work from the comic model, remember?

No worries man, I remembered that her wings were constructed from her ring so their absence didn't bother me, and trust me, I AM looking forward to seeing the rest of the outfit >;3

Yep, i remember man, and sorry about that, I was unaware her eyes were green, just looked it up on comicvine to confirm it (green eyes and purple starbolts XD). Sorry, I just always associate the purple eyes with Blackfire so it caught me off guard, regardless, I can still tell its her from her outfit and lovely but lethal appearance
