Description
Two weeks ago, my sister and I drove up to Salem, Massachusets to visit our best friend George, and this was one of the more peculiar sights we passed on the way. This is a real place, I wouldn't lie to you about something this important!Related content

Why, do you live in Massachusetts? Because apparently this is a franchise over there, according to my friend.

Christ, it's a chain. Just when you think you've seen it all, a bunch of people advertise bunghole licking on a public street. God bless America.

Either I'm oddly naive and innocent, or just stupid. What's the other meaning of 'bunghole'? I just know the hole in the liquor barrel meaning...

And yet, after all that, they still call themselves Bunghole Liquors.

Well, the word 'bunghole' was originally the word used to describe the hole in the side of a wine barrel.
Still funny though.

Oh, I figured that's what it was. I remembered an episode of Beavis and Butthead where a man actually looked up the word bunghole after Beavis was shouting it in his full "Cornholio mode." Who says Beavis and Butthead isn't educational?

Of course, dude. A "bunghole" is a hole drilled into a barrel or cask to facilitate the pourings of liquids...
....what, is there some sort of double meaning here?

Not just a store called Bunghole, but Liquors [lickers?] of Bunghole, which is precisely what makes it so weird.
