Didn't do those for quite a long time, honestly..All designs
These are the designs that going to be in The Count of Monte Rainbow comic . Changes may happen.
•Octavia as Haydee - The reason why I chose Octavia to be Haydee is mentioned here: TCoMR - characters design 1 , but her child dress design was inspired by Pony-from-Everfree 's drawing: The Count of Monte Rainbow and Haydee .
•Beauty Brass as Vasiliki - Once again credit goes here to Pony-from-Everfree , this choice of hers seems like the most reasonable.
•Frederic Horseshoepin as Ali Pasha of Tepelena - The reason for this choice is because Frederic was one of Octavia's musicians crew and he has some connections with both Octavia and Beauty Brass, pretty much the same reason as for Beauty Brass.
Also, I didn't create any mixes of Beauty Brass/Vasiliki and Frederic/Ali, because their names are hella long and I don't think it's necessary yet.
Inspired by Assassin-or-Shadow and TorusTheScribe animatics.
The novel 'The count of Monte Cristo' written by: Alexandre Dumas.
'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic' series belong to Hasbro.

Great choices, if you ask me! Especially their outfits, they fit the timeline so well!

The second family to have suffered the most from the actions of the conspirators, the first being the small family of Louis Dashie Edmond Dashie. But fourteen years later the mare and stallion who both lost their loved ones at the hooves of Fernand Monsparkle would find each other in circumstances most unusual. And with Edmond's help Haydavia was spared from enduring her cruel fate even more. And together they would see to the ultimate downfall of the stallion who betrayed them. However along the way Haydavia would wonder something as she watches her savior's grand plan of revenge unfurl; is it fair to let innocents suffer for the sake of delivering harsh justice to just three people?
I see that you ended up sticking with Octavia over other mares in your old poll. Probably for the best, if only for the sake of avoiding confusion. You can always through them in as cameo characters.
You know, this makes me think of your forgiveness picture you made where Edmond met with Fernand's spirit. Maybe this calls for a prequel of why Fernand was there sobbing. Maybe he was at the crossroads of heaven and hell or something and met with the unforgiving spirits Ali Pasha, Vasiliki and Louis Dashie. They have seen all and are furious at what the Alicorn has done to their children. And so for his actions Fernand is left with the a punishment worse than hell; he is stuck in limbo until both of their children forgive him. Your picture with Edmond shows that he forgave Fernand, but will Haydavia?
Sorry for babbling. The picture just gave me ideas I felt I should share with you. Anyway, great picture!

And wow, now that you say all this I noticed that there are lots of similarities between Haydee and Monte Cristo. No wonders they're so close to each other by the end of the novel.
Since I never finished reading the novel I can't tell whether Haydee felt bad about exposing Fernand in the end or not. If she didn't that makes a really bright and only contrast between her and Monte Cristo what could bring a completely different story with her... I really need to finish reading the novel..

Yeah, I always knew there was something similar between Edmond and Haydee but after seeing your picture it finally hit me. And don't worry, I never made it far in the novel either. Just take your time and get through it.
But even though you'll have to read the rest to understand if Haydee ever felt sorry for Fernand or not, do you think you'll make a prequel involving the spirits of the vengeful parents and Fernand's own soul? It's alright if you don't. Again, I just thought I'd share.
