I don't consider SSB Links to be from one particular game. I see them as more as a representation of Links from the series. And I'm not the only one apparently! (www.ign.com/articles/2015/03/2β¦ )

Not until Brawl when they had the Subspace thing, they seemed to have had their own personalities like they usually do in their own games like they were meeting each other for the first time, didn't really seem like simple toys since Link literally went and got the Master Sword in the middle of crap happening. It also showed their worlds were merging due to Tabbuu's crap which is why they appear in each other's worlds. Along with the Mario and Kirby thing, they know what they're doing, it's one big Video Game tournament, who da best Game Character? type deal.
Due to subspace, I do believe they actually are themselves eventually but they are toys from way back when Melee and the original since they actually were displayed that way.

meh, I don't really think that subspace event really turned them into characters. I view it as more 'what would happen if they all got thrown in the pot together?!' haha like hyrule warriors, I guess, but less of a story line.
In the end, I'll just keep tormenting TP Link until he gets his HD remake or sequel (which isn't likely)

Like Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros is not cannon~ Β
I just believe it really is them in Brawl but all their worlds just decided to get mashed together and they all like 'DaFuq'? Gotta go get dis guy that keep messin' up my mojo~ Β I honestly thought there was more storyline than people like to think. Most people consider storyline having there to be 'dialogue' or 'talking'. Not every storyline have to have characters talk. Honestly the actual storyline made Smash waaaaaay more unique than just the stages and the items than any other fighting game. Most fighting games are just, here have a bunch of characters, unlock characters, fight with them, whoopee. Smash changed all that and adding a Storyline to it made it totally different, I wish for another one.
Poor TP though, I actually really like TP and I wish they'd make a manga/comic for TP, it'd be awesome! Plus I really like wolf Link~

Yeah, Smash bros does have a storyline, but it just isn't that deep, very much like hyrule warriors. But these side games aren't canon to the Zelda storyline, so I don't generally use them in my comics (Midna's was a special case).
A TP comic would be GREAT here's to hoping.

Someone decided to make SBB into something depressing, have you heard of Game Theory? I mean, yeah, it's just a Theory but you know, IT'S A VERY HEART SHATTERING THEORY. Plus Midna did get into Hyrule Warriors and Smash even thought TP has always been there. Maybe Smash is just an insignificant side job because everyone else already does it, I mean Majora/Time Link is technically in Smash now, Deity costume not to mention Four Swords and Dark. There;s so many there that it doesn't even matter~ Poor TP.
I really wanted one and I also want a full Manga/Comic for Skyward not just a Prologue.

I always liked the Twilight Princess Link more though. The others are fun too, but I loved that game and it's link.

he still has an awesome game to brag about... wind waker is shit, between worlds is crap, as it is only a remake of ye olde link to the past, the new one should be fine... just wanna see how they screw it up... as for hyrule warriors... its just another dynasty warriors with another franchise... as if one piece, naruto and bleach didn't milk that enough.
i like majora's mask and ocarina of time and despise anything that looks like TOON LINK... specially the DS titles as they want me to use the pen for friggin everything... there was a reason i leave that thing behind the screen unless i'm playing rayman raving rabbits.Β

Not to mention, elements from his specific game have been widely used in the entire series, especially Ganon's design and the lower-tier enemies

I don't really count the smash games. In my mind, the Link they use is a representation of the 'Console Link' (and the toon link of the 'handheld Link'). The character in this most recent smash game seems like a mashup of TP and SS Link in my opinion.
But, this is just my opinion, and that is what gets reflected in these silly stupid comics I do
