(Not very well at critiques er watever but..) I noticed that the exposed shoulder toward the right is a bit large for the pose, a little too exposed to say in other words. And the other shoulder thats covered by hair is a bit small, based from the ref, the arm to the left starts off in the wrong place, also i believe it needs to be bend a bit more. Another thing i noticed was the way the face is turned. Its a bit more towards the back than displayed here. Also, now that i look back at the face, the lips are bigger in the ref you used, and its slightly open showin a smidge (ya,, i said smidge) of teeth. The leg thats pointed somewhat outwards needs to go that way a lil more also. And the girl in the ref, her feet are close to being level since she's on a flat surface, in this (in my opinion) it looks as if she's walked up a few stairs and stopped on one for a model photo. (hope non of that sounded rude, i dnt mean to sound that way..) Though everything else is flawless. Good Job

More tips;
- Use the three eye-tip. Your eyes are only an eye apart.
- The ear reaches from middle of the eye, where the tear duct, etc is, to the corner of your mouth.
- The calf and thigh are about the same length.
- When you stand more on one leg, so your hip is out more to one side, that shoulder goes down.
- The foot is as long as the forearm.

Now I am at a loss. Can't remember any more!

I'm not good at actual critiques, so I'm just gonna point out the flaws. Although the feet are excellent. Anyway:
The arm on the left is too long. If you look at the ref, the elbow should be bent more so it's farther away from the knee.
The shoulder/collarbone area is pretty off. The human torso just doesn't have this rounded shape at the top, it basically ends with the collarbone, which is an inverted V. Also, the shoulder should be larger and more prominent, and the arm on the left starts in the wrong place because of this. The torso on the ref is leaning back slightly, and this picture doesn't have that going on, which subtracts a lot from the pose.

thanks so much I'll be sure to remember to take into consideration the collarbone next time... that reminds me... i really need to learn bone structure. do you know how to do bone structure well?

To learn bone structure, I look up stock photos on here and do 3 color studies- white and black charcoal on grey paper (well, I use white and brown conte crayon, but same thing). That really helps you understand where the bones lie under the skin. Looking up pics of skeletons and how they fit together is important too, so you know how it works mechanically. The whole collarbone/shoulder area is really important and kind of counter-intuitive so it's good to learn!
