Craig couldn't believe that he had lost the bet! It was easy! All the team had to do was score a single goal in the second half. And they had already scored five times in the first! Instead, they played "park-the-bus" and it became one of the most boring halves of soccer (football for all of my international viewers) they had ever watched.

"Well!" Bethany exclaimed. "A bet's a bet!" She began dancing around him before sitting on his lap. "And now you get to pay up!"

A couple of hours later, and Craig was ready for his adventure around town. Worse for him, Bethany decided that they would take the train into town. As embarrassed as he was, at least this kind of thing was normal in their world and no one even batted an eye as he sat there in the red gown, bound and gagged on the train.
