The Charlton Automatic Rifle is a .303 (7.7mm) calibre rifle that originated in New Zealand, which were converted from obsolete Lee-Metford Rifles as a substitute for the Bren Light Machine Gun in Australia in New Zealand, as there were not yet enough in the early years of World War II to go around.Vector by me
