Description
Walking down Granville Street we encountered a man staring into the window of a huge comic book store and taking notes. We stopped and talked to him, and surprisingly he was the shop's owner!I asked him if it would be okay if I photographed him as he planned the new display, and he posed for me instead
He owns Golden Age Collectibles in downtown Vancouver.

I haven't been there in ages. I usually go to The Comic Shop on 4th Avenue when I can.
Definately a very cool picture!

I've been there too I usually frequent my buddy's shop Greyhaven's, in White Rock, but Taz in Burnaby, Golden Age, and The Comic Shop are all cool.
Taz is good for finding backissues because the owner buys collections, Golden Age has the widest selection of comic books, magazines, and graphic novels, and The Comic Shop is the best place for manga and sometimes older backissues. There's also a second hand bookstore between Golden Age and the Granville St Bridge (same side of the road) that has a basement level with second hand comics and backissues that are sometimes hard to find.

Yeah, I've been to that used bookstore. They have some awesome back issues and some very interesting books.

I love how he's just there, and kinda looks unaware as the reflections and stuff are all complicated behind him. Nice shot.
