Description
"Umm... Tekno...?"Picture I drew after drawing Shorty de-armoured - couldn't resist drawing him almost entirely suited up. This was meant to be a quick sketch, but it was so messy by the time I'd finished I HAD to ink it to be able to make any sense of it.
Included is Tekno The Canary, Shortfuse's one-time sidekick, and all round mechanical wizard. I gave her a quick re-design so that she would fit the current design of Sonic and his contemporaries. This is not to say I didn't like the original design, which I did, I just like to fiddle
She doesn't seem to realise she's activated the booster in his boot...
Shortfuse and Tekno belong to whoever it was who invented them (which wasn't me) or possible Fleetway Comics... if the still exist...?
[I almost put TEETH marks in her burger! Duuuh!]

Man, I've been missing out on a lot of Sonic characters by not checking out Fleetway's comics at all until recently...!

Shortfuse and Tekno were two of my favourites from the comics, so it's wonderful to see art of them. Your redesign of Tekno looks awesome, loving her hair and tail.

I used water colour pencils for the colours, and I drew and inked it all by hand (the best way, naturally) and for Shorty's Armour I used pencil (probably HB and 6B, as that's what I normally use) - what better way to get a shiny metallic look than to use shiny metal

Wha Thank yooo! And haha, yes, I did wonder after colouring it whether it would be clear that things were 'heating up' for Shorty (and I can't remember whether I wrote in the blurb) - bet the poor little bugger's sweating his 'nuts' off (little squirrel joke thrown in for you there, free of charge)

Finally, an excellent Shortfuse piece. Shortfuse is always going to be a much missed character from the Fleetway Sonic series.
He of all people had more reason to hate Robotnik than anyone else.

Calling him 'Eggman' just makes a joke of a guy who is supposed to an Evil Dictator who imprisons helpless animals inside of viscous machines.

Well, when you describe them, you're describing their game incarnations.
'Eggman' is a bumbling, blustering fool who uses an egg dealer to select his machines, and always winds up relying on some ancient evil which he winds up helping Sonic to destroy in the games.
Doctor Robotnik is a despicable, but frighteningly competent villain who managed to seize control of the world, he also used animals as batteries for his badniks and always gave Sonic a run for his money.
I guess the name really makes the man.
