First of All, what you done with the two worlds above/beneath is amazing, your artwork is so beautiful and the idea is original.

Honestly i would have loved to have more contrast and more blur and smoothness beneath the water and over the sky, especially having some smooth wind effect, because the title is "Ocean of Sorrows" and the picture is a bit noisy and having clear lines while emotions are a blur of dark and light that overwhelm the person and makes it harder for him to pick up details.

The underwater effect is amazing, but i would have added more light reflections on her hands.

When it comes to symbolism, the Gold Fish symbolizes abundance which does not necessarily fit here (depending on the message you attempted to deliver) As for the Jellyfish it symbolizes tranquility and peace two things that the girl doesn't feel. Because a sorrowful person is rather anguished and scared, moreover he would be stung with the traumas of life.

The Clock is beautiful because emotions are related in time past and old memories. Finally i wish you all success, and my intent is not to criticize but rather to improve and i believe you can do even greater, and by the way the picture is already stunning! But i tend to love symbolism and details even if i also don't hit the mark sometimes. Wish you Well oxox

This is my very old work and I vividly remember working on it and how it was really difficult for me to bring realism in my underwater scene and literally I had no idea on how it looks and what details to  work on. But somehow I managed to bring at least a bit of realism in my work.
Your information about symbolism is really awesome and quite new to me as I just used my imagination to fill in the empty space.

Once again thank you so much for taking your precious time in going through my creation and highlighting my mistakesGlad you enjoy my work!

This piece has definitely caught me by the eye. I can really sense the different elements that's being displayed in the piece. As time goes by, different scenarios are played (which is definitely what I seem to be capturing from). Although I do question what do the goldfish and jellyfishes represents. Are they both representing as symbol with light and darkness? Because that is what I'm guessing. But other than that, it is very beautiful. I've got no other words to explain other than how magnificent it is. Well done! There's no criticism on my part. It is very unique!

I love that you did a water piece. People who have tried should know exactly how difficult it can be to create the underwater look. You did fantastic. I also want to commend you on the jellyfishes. It is so hard to put those in a piece. Just as a constructive criticism I do think that the piece could have benefited from a little more depth perception. For example the flowers in the water on the right. They seem really bright and sharp for the position they are in. But I love that you chose to add all of these elements because most people wouldn't take the time to. Again wonderful job and I love that you used so many different elements.

First of all, many thanks for taking your time in going through my work flow, really appreciate it!!
Didn't know that underwater objects need to be blur, thanks for pointing out my flaws.

They don't need to be blur. You did such a wonderful job. I just thought the flowers on the right stood out quite a bit from the model. But it's opinion. I think it's overall fantastic!

I agree with you about the flowers because it really was bright for an underwater sceneAnd I think that all the underwater objects need to be a bit blur due to the flow of water.
Once again , thank you so much my friend for your constructive comments!!

A stunning composition. I love, how the lady is clutching the water plant, as though in sorrow. I assume, she is weeping over the constant pollution of the sea, which goes on all the time, around the world. I like, how you have part of her body submerged under the water, while her head is clearly above the surface. Also, like the goldfish, which is leaping out of the water; maybe to get the attention of the women. I also like the clock face in the sky, which I guess could indicate that time is running out. And, that something needs to be done, to protect the sea life. And, I also like the added jellyfish, which are glowing in the water.

A wonderful scene created, from what I can see, with a lot of thought and a lot of difficulty in executing it.  The water line which you added must have given you a hard time.  But then again, you are a great artist

This is a stunning piece Hazel Drawn to the sorrow yet delighted by the hope of times forgetfulness symbolized by goldfish and clock in the artwork. I feel you really shine with symbolism here, head above water while the treads of the past linger in the stings of the jellyfish.
