Posted directly into scraps because it is still just a concept sketch with some quickie coloring.

Yes, it's Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Complete with cutie mark tattoo.

A lot of thought went into the decision as to who Jigen and Boober's mother was.
I knew I wanted her to have a beak and black hair. (both of which she passed down to the twins)
And preferably somebody who could sing. (though not really a requirement)

Then Fluttershy popped into my head.
At first, I thought about it, and I said to my brain, "Brain, what the fuck? That's a TERRIBLE idea! She and Badou would NEVER WORK!!!"
And then my brain said to me "Nononono, it's a BRILLIANT idea. Let me tell you why!"
And the more I thought about it, the more I liked it.

This version of Fluttershy has black hair naturally, but she dyes it pink. (the reasons for which I have not yet decided)
She also has a tattoo of three butterflies on her hip. (also the reasons for which I have not yet decided)

Her speaking voice is exactly the same as Fluttershy in the show, but her singing voice is all big and powerful and awesome. (similarly to how I have Boober singing like Freddie Mercury)

As for her relationship with Badou, it sort of happens by accident.
There's a whole convoluted story to how their relationship came to be (almost all of which was already thought of before we even had her in the role). But the short version (so far) is that she was running away from home for some reason or another when she bumped into Badou. Of course, being the good girl she is, she doesn't run away permanently, but she regularly leaves the house to see Badou. Some stuff happens. A relationship blossoms. And before we knew it, they were having an egg together, from which hatch our twins, Jigen and Boober.

There's more I want to say about why I think Fluttershy fits so well in this role, but I'm afraid that'll have to wait until I get around to writing more, because it'll all take way too long to explain.

I'm not even gonna go into all the similarities between her and Gold.
