It's Reading Week, and I should be doing more homework, or at least working on areas I need to improve in... like colour, anatomy, environnment, style, and composition... but, no, I've decided to enjoy (and doom) myself! So, I've actually been watching "Merlin" and "Supernatural" at the same time... and not just to look for cute guys to draw... >_>Anyway, these are the upper profiles of Colin Morgan and Bradley James, who play young Merlin and Arthur. Done in Photoshop. See, I decided to paint only some of their faces so I wouldn't have to spend so much time on this, lol.
Hm, yeah, I know Arthur's hair is shockingly white, but I guess I was just playing with contrast, in relation to Merlin's pale skin and pitch black hair. So, yeah, Arthur's just... um, tan? I like how they're both a bit ethereal looking now, anyway...
And now... back to more landscape studies. V_v

this is such a stunning picture - the softness of it all but the way they're complete opposites of each other in particular! My only minor, minor comment is that Arthur's eye looks a little too turqoise (but it also looks like it might eb the inverse of Merlin's, not sure?)

Thank you so much! Ah, you're right about Arthur's eye-colour - it's just that the colour-calibration of the screen I was using for this was completely off, lol. It's definitely a bit on the green side when I look at it on the other monitor I use. Just been too lazy for the minor fix, I suppose, haha. Perhaps I'll do so now, though... Well thank you again! I do really appreciate it.

The most awesome part of this picture would be coloring, I presume. Of course the details and resembleness are also stunning, but the way you express their contrast is just made me speechless
