Rowan pointed out to me that they apparently designed him first, then Patchy redrew him, then they re-adopted him. So they should be given credit for the design.

i actually designed him he he then i re-adopted him when we cancelled the RLK.
but I do agree, patchy did a great job drawing him after i colored in some lineart
