Here is my first finished Needle Felt Creation, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. He is about 2 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" long (tail to nose). He was crafted with wool, with black beads for eyes and carefully painted paw pads.

It took one week of needle-felting, detailing and love to create this adorable fuzzy. Many hours were involved! Needle felting is a long process where the artist(me!) takes pieces of wool and shapes them by poking them with a barbed needle, over and over again until the wool becomes firm. Details are added in the same way.

He was adopted by a wonderful woman in California, through eBay.
