i feel like bob ross would be proud and happy to have watched this creation come into place! it looks really amazing! huge fan of the grass! (( i know, kind of weird to say ahha, but i always struggle with that))

I just learned how to do grass better when I did this. I used a tiny fan brush and stippled very lightly, while sort of making a hair like drag down, soft sweep. Or drag up, whichever way the brush is working for you.Β π And of course the magic of a dark background helps lots. made that green grass pop when gradually lightening it.Β

someone showed me the bob ross auto tune video they did of his happy little trees, it was epic! He was partially responsible for encouraging me to become an artist at all. Painting, i started with acrylics, and i learned to do the dark backgrounds first, which really messed with me when it came to watercolors. And drawing, i always did the main image first, filling in with the background, which could really be problematic when painting in any form haha. keep up the good work TT! i always enjoy seeing you pop up in the feed!Β

pretty sure i will just be doing digital versions of my traditional drawings and such for the next bit of time to get the hang of the software. maybe i will come up with something good. i do plan to do some quick five min. sketches daily, but i'm not sure if i will upload.Β
