Physique: A well structured horse. A beautiful head and face, and powerful hindquarters. A little weak in left shoulder following an old injury. Well-managed with training routine, only noticeable after time off.

Background: Private purchase from Carter Thoroughbreds. After suffering an injury shortly after beginning his flat career at 3 years old, he had the year off. From his 4y/o season he has been a strong force on the track, over hurdles and the flat. Retired at 8.
Personality: From breeder: “A feisty, fiery colt who's personality matches his coat. He's definitely gonna be a fierce competitor on the racetrack - he just needs some motivation. He seems to be lacking in a competitive spirit, which is funny.”
Cody has matured well into a bold stallion, who approaches most new things with confidence. He still is known to be temperamental (bites on occasion). Perhaps not the brightest boy but is certainly a character.
Never loved racing the way many Thoroughbreds do. The solution to this was to give him his favourite snacks on the way to the gates and to make sure he got plenty of scratches after.
Owner: Carter Thoroughbreds. Long-term lease to Natalie Langford but CT retained stud rights.
Discipline: OTTB. National Hunt, flat racing in earlier career.(rail-birds )
