As for what color, that's completely up to you. You can go crazy/wild or choose something more subtle. The only limit on creating a new character should always be whether or not it's a stolen design. Anything else is and always will be totally up to you!

*wiggles* I LOVE bunnies! I had an awesome pet rabbit named Hershey who was litter trained and knew a few tricks. Someday I'm gonna get me another...when I get the house I can settle down in. I miss him. *huggles*

aww. My first rabbit's name was Zorro, he was a duthc/mini lop cross, and he would come when you called his name, and he even chased palyed fetch. They are very intelligent creatures, they just take a lot of time. XD

And I agree, they do take a lot of time, but I think they're worth it. Of all the rodents out there, I think they're closest to perfect. (<-- is not biased at all. *cough*)
Rats have too short of a life span, chinchillas sleep the day away and never really get to like being cuddled, and mice are more like furry fish than pets. Hampsters get grumpy and bite, and gerbils get eaten by my cats (long story. No more rodents for me without an electric fence to guard them)
Rabbits are smart, they can be very affectionate, they're extremely inquisitive, and are super cute.
Hershey never learned fetch, but he learned to sit up for a treat and he also came when he was called. He was a mini-rex...so soft. =]

awww. XD I am quite aprtial to the black and white Mini-lops. You know, the ones with the symetrical spot patterns on their faces? I have one at the time being like that. Her name's Juneau. She comes when I call her, but were working on someother stuff as well.
And yes, I've ahd my fair share of small mammals, and belive me, Im sticking with rabbits.
And dont forget gunea pigs. waaaaaay to time consuming.

The're stupid. No joke. Absoballylutely idiotic animals they are. You see, I had wanted a chinchilla, but my mom said no, so we got a guinea pig. Actaully, five. My sister and brother came along, and they each got two. But I ended up taking care of them. anyways, you cant give them water bottles because they dont know how to use them. Water has to be served in a bowl, and they MUST have at least three servings of vitamin C a day because they cant make it themselves. They also are very messy, unlike rabbits. You have to give them baths because they dont clean themselves, and not to mention they squeak everytime a bag rustles because they think the're going to get fed. They also arent very weather tolerant. you have to bring them inside during the hotter days of summer so they wont overheat, and you have to bring them inside during the winter months so they wont freeze to death. They are prone to health problems like cateracts and melenoma, plus, they shed like crazy.
So to sum it all up, dont get a guinea pig. Trust me, it's not worth it.

They also spend almost the whole day in a near hibernation state. ^^ They're active at night. And they can jump six feet straight up.
And the breeders I talked to all said that if it was a "petting" animal I wanted, I should get a cat.

Wow, I had no idea! Thank you VERY much! I am partial to capybaras, but I know I could never have one as a pet (for several very OBVIOUS reasons) and I always thought that guinea pigs looked a bit like miniature capybaras.
