I know. You don't have to say it, I know.

If you were to drop a WoW druid into a vat of cherry kool-aid, this is what you'd get.

Or, as a good friend said "So, the druid might totally get away with saying, "OH YEAH!" and bursting through a wall? That's a druid I'd want to meet...just at someone else's house."

I can explain!

See, normally I spend about an hour before I EVER color the real picture just fiddling with different shades of different colors, trying to get the perfect combination.

So I dusted off this piece (the cat had already been colored and everything else was inked) and decided I'd be a CRAZY UNINHIBITED artist, and grabbed four colored pencils that looked nice and started coloring. The theory was that if something came out wrong, I'd simply recover gracefully and fix it.

*sigh*

I swear, I SWEAR that bear was brown when I started. I don't know exactly when he started to take on that distinctive kool-aid tinge, but the first four colors I picked were BROWN. And not once did I go NEAR the reds, although I added a purple or two.

And then I added a background, which went WAY the wrong way, and now I'm all disappointed.

Mostly because dangit it looks GOOD in red.

(not the background. The background suxxors, but we'll ignore that)

So...pretend this is an artistic STATEMENT about the inherent duality in a druid's main battle forms, wherein the druid is constantly pulled in different directions, the tankability of the bear versus the damage dealing cat. Red versus blue, on an inner cosmic scale.

Or it's enraged or something.

This WILL be scrapped.
