That's a good question. In this species of faun, both males and females have antlers because it's connected to how they are able to use magic. I also have made up a few other humanoid races like dragon people and unicorn people whose magical abilities are centered in their horns, so it's me trying to be consistent with this overall setting I created.

Thanks! It's a different set of skills to draw without colors, but I think it's good to practice both ways. And I always like Bibio's music for peaceful outdoors scenes, especially when I'm walking to the bus stop in the morning. c:

Thanks! I admit I haven't fleshed out the world that this character and my other deer people live in, but I'll certainly give it some thought. I would imagine they can paint not only their nails, but also horns and hooves (if they were so inclined).

You may have been joking but I think it's important to know why and how the people in any fantasy world acquire and wear their clothing. I usually make up my characters before I figure out those setting details, so there's a lot of retconning ahead in my future. >.>;

I think it matters if you really care about developing the whole thing for like a novel, like I plan to with Matteo, but with a casual drawing of a character you like, I don't think it matters.
