Description
For the 'Your favorite comic characters' ATC swap on Swap-Bot: [link]I thought I'd simply draw them for this swap ^^ I have two partners for this swap, and two ATCs per partner - so I'm going to draw Gambit and Rogue for one person and Chamber and Husk for the other.
I'm using real playing cards as bases for these, sticking two layers of brown paper to them and drawing the characters in black architects pens, Japanese brush pen and white pencil. Oh, and Gambit's eyes were done with a red glitter-gel pen ^^

what a coincidence that I'm watching an episode the old xmen cartoon right now, and it revolves around Gambit

I had a feeling Gambits accent was mostly wrong - mostly, because whenever an English character turned up THEIR accent was downright wrong as well XD But at least they managed to get him saying the odd thing here or there jsut about right ^^

Occasionally they had a decent accent! You just had to look for it. Rogue's southern drawl wasn't half bad most of the time, when it wasnt -overdone-...and Magneto, near the end of the series anyway, seemed to sound a bit more Jewish-German..Actually he pulled it off well, it was pretty subtle. Maybe that was just how I interpreted his voice to sound, it could be just me

I must admit, I did always enjoy Rogue's accent - almost as much as I enjoyed Remy's XD
I must say though, that I never did notice Magneto's accent - it just sounded rather generally American to me c.c
I haven't done much in the way of X-Men fanart - but after doing these ATCs, I certainly plan to do more!
