Description
This was an idea of how to display death and the fear many have of it despite how gentle it may seem, even after death the character may seem fearful despite the calm nature of the hooded figure, known by many as death. And just for people like you don't HAVE to give advanced critique if you don't want to, I just thought I could learn to improveRelated content

Very interesting concept. I'm quite fond of this overall. The spirit is hard to see though. She blends into the male behind her and is lost, as her expresion. I like the way she clings to her male counterpart, but it is hard to tell that she, is in fact, holding him. Her body is also rather strait for a corpse. Perhaps bending some of her limbs and torso slightly it might give the desired effect. Also if you used slightly less folds on Death's robes it might help to draw attension to the spirit. An interesting way to solve the problem with the spirit would to have her in colour while the rest remained black and white.

hmm, I may take that into consideration, I liked creating this "Death Series" so going back and remaking them may be somewhat fun.

a very interesting concept, and quite well executed. I like the symbolism in this, and also the way it seems to contrast the commonly held apprehension about death. for the advanced critique part, i beleive that maybe the ends of the girls hair should be spread out a little more, but besides that it's quite good. I would like to see it colored though ...

So much emotion in this pic.. I love it just for that alone! But the grim reaper with the girl's hand is a really nice touch. It's a bit creepy, but I really like it. It has a nice effect.

Thanks, actually most people prefer this one to the first of the series, and I think it is because of the emotional content to it.
