Somehow, what happened today took me back 10+ years ago to a very similar event and the emotions of that day. I was suddenly reminded of a song I listened to a lot around the time that became burned into my memory, forever attached to the memories of that day. Oddly, I find the song very comforting and found myself listening to it again today. And due to the bittersweet nostalgia it brought, I felt like drawing in a similar style to how I used to back then and also as the song is a Vocaloid song, give it some Miku vibes. Anyway... I guess this is my way of saying goodbye to a friend, gone too soon.

Life is fragile. Cherish your loved ones and let them know how loved and appreciated they are. You never know the day when they'll suddenly be gone.
