ahhh this entire scene is just so beautifully painted <333 i love the soft colours and cool toned shading, it gives it such a classic fairytale look OwO
the little details in the foliage and those small white flowers is just perfect! and ahh the characters look wonderful! your shading and colouring is gorgeous as always and i love how playfully their personalities are captured!

I was so intrigued by this I looked up the Greek story. It was a rather impressive one, and now this one tumblr quote that is from a book referring to the nymph being turned into a tree makes sense. I don't necessarily expect you to know fully what I'm talking about, just know that it inspired some actual research on my part. It's very rare that any art will cause me to look into matters further.
