I feel the work in your gallery is so far beyond the pedestrian "Manga & Anime" it's a disservice to have it in your description.

To me, you see one piece of manga/anime, you've seen them all.Β The fine work in your gallery is on a much higher level than the monotonous, boring, redundant, and pedestrian manga/anime.

I think that's a really stupid, ostentatious position to hold. If you like this girl's artwork, then you haven't "seen them all," obviously. Her artwork being of a quality different than you expected has nothing to do with the fact that it is fan art of a manga/anime.
I personally find fractals monotonous, boring, and redundant. If I found a fractal I really liked though, it would be utterly stupid of me to suppose that it was "not a fractal" on account of it surpassing my expectations.
That would make me sound like a pretentious douchebag, I'm pretty sure. Almost as much as saying that this artwork isn't "pedestrian" enough to be "Manga & Anime."
