The Kyle vs Alanza fight rumbles on with Alanza taking yet more opportunities to toy with Kyle, dodging his attacks at the last moment and ignoring obvious gaps in his defences. At least, until she decides to strike back!Only for Kyle to catch her foot!
Or was that exactly what Alanza had planned?
Seems like it. Kyle's getting increasingly frustrated but will that cause him to up his game or lead him to make a match-ending mistake?

I never actually tried to understand terminoligy... femdom is when female dominates male in a fight or whatever? Personally, I'm not a fan of it in it's essence. I don't like what I'm seeing in movies and in short flicks where women somehow portrayed as Rambos. Or even better explanation, I don't like that in order to make women look good, they make men look terrible. In certain cases I can accept that, if it's justifiable. Like in this post, Kyle is clearly out of his league. Hence the one-sided nature of the fight so far.
But when it comes to comparing two great fighters like Catwoman and Red Hood for example, I wouldn't accept female domination under anything. If she has to win, so be it, but it has to come with a struggle.
As to why it's so popular right now, well, it became popular a few years ago when lead female heroines are suddenly a thing. Which is good, but with limits. So it's basically a trend of establishing more impactful female role in action movies. Again, I don't mind the goal, I welcome it. Sometimes however, people overdo with girlpower to a ridiculous and boring level.
Fortunately current trend chenged towards much more even field. In a lot of movies I see right now women actually have to overcome their male opponents in a fight and not with just pure strengths.Β

BTW....I'm not at all trying to shit on anything you do white, I'm a fan for sure. Marvel and Disney can live in their fantasy all they want. For me the peak nonsense was in Star Wars when Rey suddenly beat Kylo Ren. Yeah... like in what universe a peasant with no training at all can beat a Sith with an advanced training? In Disney's universe apparently... Such stupidity is what I really dislike. Making guys terrible so that a girl looks better. If Disney would've done a remake, Luke would be a girl and would defeat Vader without Yoda's help. Why not, right? XDDD

As for MMA, I'm only disappointed that so many people ate this bullshit for truth. There is a reason why there's a division by genders and weights. Sure Ronda won't go down fast against a top tier male fighter (maybe). If we are talking about the same weight category. There is some chance she wins. Because there's always a chance. But I'd consider her chances against someone like Dominick Cruz to be pretty small.

I wouldn't say they completely suck, but some decisions are terrible. If anything, I really liked Infinity War. But that's because Marvel finally managed to make a villain that's impressive and interesting.
Captain Marvel, hmm I thought I was the only one who wasn't impressed by it one bit. It was so dull for me, that I basically slept through the trailer. I don't know why. Probably because I dislike the character itself by default. I don't even know the the character, but I don't like her, I have no idea why. Probably because the consept of energy blasts from hands sounds pretty boring to me. Still, I might change my opinion if I know her better.
With Catwoman we'll see where WB will go

I don't even like gal Gadot as Wonder Woman....now don't get me wrong...she nails the light hearted compassionate side of WW...but I would have much more prefered a Woman shaped like that Ms Marvel cosplay...muscular feminine and imposing! And WW new outfit SUCKS! They had bigger balls in the 70's to portray women...it's a sad thing.

Let's just say that I overcame my initial thought on Gal's figure after I saw BvS and WW. She's quite a good actress and really nailed WW's character. As for her figure, she's still very pretty. Yes, she's not like an amazon. Her sisters look like amazons, because they actually hire fitness models and stunt women for it, heh. But I doubt they can really act. And if I had to pick, I'd say it's more important to have good acting abilities than a perfectly fit body/face features.
I'm not even surprised they've taken over, heh. What I especially like about Russian cosplayers is that they always put canon and attention to details at high priority. In Russia, being canon is a must. That's why mostly very fit and sexy girls cosplay Lara Croft for example. Anyone who doesn't fit by body type won't even try to cosplay chracters like Lara because no one will approve. But! It doesn't mean that those with thicker figure can't do anything. They don't bitch about the injustice and cruelty of the world because they know that this is a simple competition rules. Intead, they either cosplay someone close to their body type or come up with an awesome OC and destroy the competition by making exceptionally great costumes. But like I said, those with fit figure also make sure to create best possible costumes, because we think that it's never enough to just have a sexy body. You have to actually be canonically correct. Also, cosplay in Russia is a huge business if you know what you are doing. Best cosplayers learned how to make big $ out of it. It's an industry already. Naturally, best cosplayers have a great team of managers, promoters, designers, costume makers, etc.
But simply put, it's all because of the quality. People will always praise real quality over simple effort.

I don't think Gal Gadot is a great actress in general...pretty untested in the end. A woman playing a compassionate Woman does not strike me as a far reaching task, if I might make so bold...
