“Alright Cosmic. No one is around. What is it you want to speak to me about?” Luna asked with concern.

Cosmic rubbed his leg nervously.
“Its about Star Beam.”

Luna felt her body stiffen but she quickly forced herself to relax.
She knew of his feelings for the next queen and wanted him to express those feelings. Even though he never has to Star. However, she too worried about that family.

“Yes. What about her?”

”You know I love her. I feel she’s the one, I do! It’s just. I suppose perhaps it would never work.”

”My dear son, why do you say that?“

”Your sister.“

His response had actually shocked Luna. But she understood. The control Celestia had over Star Beam was great. She knew if her son came out about his feelings, Celestia would knock it out. Luna knew Celestia hated Twilight was friends with her in the first place anyways.

“I see your concern. And…unfortunately.” Luna sighed.

Cosmic Burst looked up, hoping for deep wisdom from his mother.

“…Unfortunately, I dont know what to say. I understand your thinking. But what to do…?”

Cosmic nodded his head and slowly got up and walked away. Luna watched her son, such a broken heart.
