Description Bitter and sweet to the core
It bites me into deceit
Thriving and surviving in the shell
Connecting itself to every cell
Cold and unfeeling, how the touch of it feels
Blinding everyone to encourage the darkness
Powerful and yeilding is temptation to us
Speechless and mind-numbing is the way I feel about it
Though I fall into its grip yet again
Wondering if I can escape its intoxicating breath

I crumble down onto the ground
Reaching for yet another temptation
Addicted to its sweet aroma
And wild about its powerful taste
It blinds me from the things I want to see
Covering my wants and needs with false ones
Hindering its voice to me giving me more
I've become a monster and heart
Yet again has been corrupted to the core
But I still fall into temptation
