Actually, we were taught in Boy Scouts that dull knives are more dangerous than sharp ones, because when using a dull knife, there was more of a tendency to lose control of it, and to use more force to get the same result. This led to quite a few cuts by butter-level knives...
Although we weren't trying to use them QUITE like that, so I think he's safe for now.

In a Conanish satire in the "Niel the Horse" comic book, a berserker satire on Conan is cursed with the "death of a thousand butter knives" by people he had offended (very easy for the lout to do !)and later, other offended villagers try to execute him by the "death of a thousand frogs "! He was so wrapped up in the fantasy of being a loincloth-clad BARBARIAN HERO that he would see running into a cobweb on the ceiling of a dirty cellar as being a victim of "malign ensorcelment" ! It was hilarious from start to finish !
