It's the same as in last comic where Bella was horny and she asked Alice and what not.
But in the book they specify that Carlisle and the Cullens only change people if they're dying with no other way out of their death.
In this comic they make fun out of the classic suicidal attempt which is, never use electronics while showering. So she's trying to persuade Edward into turning her into a vamp 'cause she's horny.
