Second out of three part of owed CP for Pudingi of Galahad, once again featuring Moone and Asim, this time, the two old farts make Asim do all the work. What? it builds character~ surely...

Either way, Asim is less than pleased, especially when he, a runner, is asked to reach some flowers on top of a cactus. He may be long legged, but he is not thorn-proof~ again, will include a blurb when I'm not half asleep x.x;;;

Night Findings pt 2

Leaving the crates behind for a moment, Asim was relived of the carrier duty he wore he didn’t sign up for. However, what was to follow was just as unpleasant. Though mountains in Thedale were rare, an often always seen I the distance-no matter where you stood, Moone happened to come across what…might have been once, a mountain. The slab of rocks was buried in sand, and barely showed signs of ever being close to the sky, but Moone insisted that one day, it very well might have been or would be a mountain. Not convinced, but following her either way, Asim helped investigate he stones, unsure of exactly what he was looking for to begin with.

Still with them, Galahad found the younger vayron’s woes amusing, giving him a bit of hope here and there, but ultimately deciding that the young one would learn soon enough; that, and Moone’s insisting of such was getting to him. Maybe she knew soothing he did not about the young vayron, or maybe she had experience this area; either way, they managed to find very little about the rocks before they moved on to pricklier things.

Asim protested greatly when they came across the next obstacle, but Moone encouraged him and convinced him that they needed the flower that had bloomed atop a cactus, it would be the perfect addition to the small popcorn flowers she had found earlier after all. However, as much protesting he did, it had little effect on the outcome, as the runner found himself standing on his hind paws and doing his best not to get pricked by the unsavory desert plant. Surprisingly enough, he managed to retrieve the flower without incident; but did accidentally walk into a spikey bus not a minute later. Luckily, Galahad had a bit of experience in the pulling out thorns area, and managed to save the poor pup from complete humiliation.

Instead, he suffered a little humiliation, via Moone, but redeemed himself when he found yet another small mountain. It consisted of three rocks, and Moone was sure there was something suspicious about them, or otherwise, they really needed to investigate. Standing a ways off, Moon chuckled to herself, knowing full well there wasn’t anything suspicious at all about those rocks, but it was sure amusing seeing him lift up each one and inspect them. Though both she and Galahad jumped when he runner suddenly jolted and darted away from the rock. Blinking a bit, it took them a moment to realize the reason; poor Asim had disturbed the home of a scorpion.

Well, that could have gone better….for Asim at least.
