I dont know if this is a ridiculous request, or inappropriate to ask on deviantart but as a beginning colorist could you breifly explain how you color like superhero powers, or "magical effects"? do you using masking or layers? both ? I just havent found any info on how to go about coloring them. I know how to do it the superlong way but I didnt know if there was a shorter way than spending hours on it. any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
